Funny ha
It’s a postmodern script
And the comedian is funny
They create an undertone that
Let’s you know they know you know
And they continue
Both staring at it without our face
And the punchline hits
And down the road you
The laughter
And the comedian sees you down
Until your face cracks and breaks
Tumble through the laughs
But you turn around
But you don’t go
In thru the other door
You confront it
And the comedian is on the other side
“I saw it”
“I said something”
And the comedian goes
“And now what”
And the eyes open up
But the gaze grows inward
An existential fall
And the comedian waits
For the punchline
