Neoirony

Is the postulate that irony has existed long enough to harden into its own irony

And that when irony is looked at, it’s looked at within

To speak in earnest or literally is deemed a proven myth

The world, culture, the reflective voice that answers yours

Is already infected

Irony is now used to mean fitting

And your words, without “breaking through”, fit into the spirit

And the spirit continues

To see and accept post-irony and to express neo-irony

Means to attempt communicate earnestly into an audience that will not listen to literally

The struggle continues if we feel an internal want and desire towards goodness

Without this drive, literaliaty is trivial and victim.

This falls back into the depth of ethics and beauty, pragmatism and spirit
