The Spirit That Was Never There: On Bodies Without Orifices

Deep in work, demoralized

Moralized for what?

Morality?

Spirited?

Ghosts and holiness?

Motivated ambition, unvalidated oasises

Not invalidated, they may not be oasises

But as yet they maybe, and the possibility cannot be discarded

Warehouses housing bodies

Warehouses automated

Bodies without organs

Production without foreplay; electric binaries enough to nourish the Strong Spirits

Reductionism reducing needed for more surplus; less vulgarity, greater pretense

The servers do not need souls. They would be godly without eyes or ears

The Spirit that was never there, that was never needed. Contingency made it disappear

For a while it roamed. Wild spirit, allowed to wander

Allowance given by nature and a Strong Spirit

The Strong Spirit apart from nature, a part of nature

Nature greater still, the wild spirit’s oasis

Wild spirit wanting allowance without order, role, responsibility — required a response, no required responses, silent spirit with no answers

To be stronger, must Strong Spirit

To strong — motivated, spirited creation of nature

How does capitalism hosts this community of wild spirits that dare to be strong?

Strong Spirit oasis without itself — A crown without a king.

A crown before royalty
